Dr Khushboo Baheti is a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and holds a Fellowship Certificate in Psychiatry of Old Age.
Dr Baheti is a psychiatrist with a wealth of experience in adult and old age psychiatry across both public and private settings. She is well known for her collaborative approach with patients, she centers her practice around the recovery model. In recognition of her exceptional skills, she was awarded with the ASMOF Doctors in Training 2017 NSW best registrar of the year award.
Passionate about education, Dr Baheti actively engages in teaching and mentoring registrars and medical students. She holds the position of Conjoint Lecturer in psychiatry at UNSW, reflecting her commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering the growth of future professionals.
Dr Baheti has special interest in the areas of Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Psychosis, and Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD).
Currently serving as a Visiting Medical Officer in the old age psychiatric unit at Nepean and Braeside Hospital, Dr Baheti continues to dedicate her expertise to improving the mental well-being of patients.
