To refer a patient to Omega Healthcare, please send a valid referral or MHCP to admin@omegahealthcare.com.au or via fax at 02 9072 9611.
You can direct the referral to the clinician you would like your patient to see. Alternatively, you can address the referral to ‘Omega Psychiatry’ / ‘Omega Psychology’ or another service that is suitable to your patients and our experienced triage team will determine the most suitable clinician for your patient based on their experience and specialty areas.
Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP) are valid for 10 sessions in a calendar year, with a review with the patients GP required after 6 sessions to obtain a new referral for a further 4 sessions. Our consultations have an out of pocket fee and Medicare rebates are available for patients with a valid referral or MHCP. For DVA patients, there is no out of pocket fees for eligible patients.
Psychiatry referrals are valid for 12 months from a General Practitioner or 3 months from a Specialist.
